Senran Kagura Vita/Arkham Origins extras reviews.

This review is a fist of its kind for me, a two in one! It’s not something I plan on doing too often but I wanted to try it once and see how it looks and reads. If it works out then I may just do more in the future. Time will tell on that part, but either way, here is the first one! The first part covers Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus for the Vita and the rest covers the Arkham Origins collector’s edition materials. I didn’t actually buy the collector’s edition of the game, buying the extras at a different time, but since it’s the same material I figured it was fine to review it. First off Senran!

This game is a fun game, playing very similarly to Dynasty Warriors to me. It does have a lot of fan service too, such as bouncing breasts, skimpy clothing, sexual references,Senran Kagura and things like that. If it were a game on that alone I don’t think I would have bought it, but the gameplay itself is actually pretty enjoyable! I’m not far enough in the story to give a major vote one way or the other, but overall I have to say that I don’t have any complaints thus far. The game feels great and looks great as well, a good Vita powered game for sure. If sexual nature isn’t your thing then I recommend you don’t get the game. But with violence and gore being the norm in most games I don’t think it’s a big deal to see some sexual content, as long as it does indeed fit alongside a good fighting system and decent story, and this game does that very well.

So here are the likes and dislikes:

Likes: good graphics, good battle system, enjoyable (enough) story, great customization.

Dislikes: though the battle system is good, sometimes it can be a bit repetitive.

That’s it as far as the likes and dislikes. I think it’s a pretty solid game and I do recommend a purchase, as long as the sexual references isn’t a deal breaker to you. I say it’s an 8/10. It’s not perfect, but it is a lot of fun.

Now for the Arkham Origins collector’s edition extras. I’ve been in a major Arkham mood as of late, specifically because of Arkham Knight, and I’ve ventured into more and more areas to enjoy the game series, in particular books and collectibles. That includes Arkham Origins and it’s collectibles. I’m really happy with my purchase of these materials. There is an art book that’s really nice and gives extra details into the game which I’m a major fan of. You get some evidence from a few locations in the game, such as a coin from Penguin’s boat and I (believe) Killer Croc’s tooth. You get all sorts of other great extras too, like the contract each assassin got before pursuing the Bat. And you get files on each character as well, and a game map too! There are a ton of awesome things included that add even more depth to the games and their world, and that is a major thing to a person like me. It’s a 10/10, since you get so much great content. Again, go to Amazon or something and make a purchase! You won’t regret it, especially if you’re a major Batman fan!
