Nintendo has put out some great games in recent times, on both the Wii U and 3DS. It’s my firm believe that the Wii U is in serious trouble and won’t get the lead that the Wii had, but that doesn’t mean Nintendo isn’t throwing the kitchen sink at it to make it work. Some of the games that Nintendo just announced coming to the E-shop, and some that are on there now, has me excited and ready to put more cash into the Wii U. This is speaking of the United States shop, though games typically find their way to other areas as well. There are some games available for the Vita, PS3, and PS4 as well if you have the PlayStation Plus, so I’ll be listing those upcoming games as well!
But Nintendo is first. I’m going to list the games and the date that they are coming, that way you can go to your Wii U E-shop then and get them! These games consist of N64 games and DS games. Out now we have Super Mario 64 and Yoshi’s Island. I played quite a bit of Super Mario 64 growing up so it’ll be fun to play this game again, and I’m sure I’m not alone in this. April 9th: WairoWare Touched and Yoshi Touch&Go both arrive. April 16th: Donkey Kong 64, which I’m really excited for! I’ve wanted to play this game lately but getting a working N64 with all needed has been hard, so this is something I’m super pumped about. April 23rd: Mario Kart DS. And April 30th: Paper Mario 64. All of these games are going to be great to own on the Wii U and play, I can’t wait personally, especially for Donkey Kong. None of these games are more than $10 so you aren’t losing an arm and a leg to get access to these great games. The final thought on this: Get a Wii U if you don’t have one already! It has great games as is and is getting more as time moves forward, both new and classic. Can’t beat that!
Let’s now look at the PlayStation side of things. They have great games that’ll be coming soon, all for free as long as you are subscribed to the service. They all will arrive on the same day, Tuesday April 7th: Tower of Guns comes for both the PS3 and PS4. Never Alone comes for the PS4. Dishonored comes for the PS3. Aaru’s Awakening comes for both the PS3 and PS4. Killzone Mercenary comes for the PS Vita. MonsterBag comes for the PS Vita. And that’s the wrap up for that. I’m overall much more impressed with what Nintendo has coming to the Wii U this month but I’m more a fan of the price of the PS Plus games. Sure, you have to subscribe to the service, which costs money, but I save a ton of cash using it as opposed to buying the games I download, so it’s more than worth it. Killzone for the Vita is the highlight of the month for me personally, while Donkey Kong 64 is the overall leader of all of the games.
Those are the focus on this article, but I’ll mention more later as I see the deals that Microsoft offers for their consoles. This is all about Nintendo and PlayStation! Which of these games are you the most excited about? Which ones do you want to see in the future? Let us know!
