My 3 latest (and favorite) gaming merchandise!

Video games are one of the most popular forms of entertainment around the world. It’s an industry that looks at the film industry, long the measuring stick of entertainment and its value, and laughs. It makes billions more each year than films do and that won’t slow down anytime soon. If anything video games are proving to be too much to handle to many different forms of entertainment. Great games have awesome stories and cutscenes, much like a feature length film. They have great soundtracks like any good music you’ll hear on the radio or on YouTube. They have stories that have real depth and length, like any great book. Games cover so many areas and give you far more control over the character and the world than any of those other mediums are capable of, so it’s no wonder games are so popular! To go alongside with games, like any major film, you see a ton of merchandise. Hats, shirts, board games, stickers, coloring books, you name it. There is merchandise for just about every game and character out there. Which brings me to the point of this particular post. I’ve bought 3 gaming merchandise products lately and I thought I’d share them! I’ll give any recommendation on the Merchandiseproducts and go from there. Be sure to share any gaming merchandise you’ve bought lately as well!

1. My Tommo Sega Genesis battery power partner. Why I like it: it’s a battery charger, that can charge at least two things at once, when not around a wall plug. It’s perfect for when you’re on the road and need a charge. Plus the design of the device itself, plus the protective case, looks just like a real Sega Genesis! You can’t beat that. Why I recommend it: because it’s awesomely convenient to be able to charge your phone, Vita, or whatever and not have to be near the wall and an outlet. The gaming nostalgia factors in as well. Something that’s functional and nostalgic is something you can’t beat. Even if you were all about the SNES and hated the Genesis, the product itself is very handy and does a great job, so I definitely recommend it.

2. My Sonic the Hedgehog throw blanket. Why I like it: it’s very comfortable, probably the most comfy throw blanket I’ve ever felt. When curling up for a nap and you get your little blanket or for sleep this blanket is the one to have. It’s so soft and is just the perfect blanket. Oh yeah, and the design is of a Sega Genesis inspired level, with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Dr. Robotnick all in a particular area together. It looks like it was ripped straight from a Genesis game, which is just too cool! Why I recommend it: it’s comfortable and it looks awesome, how can you not love that? It’s priced at $15, at least at Target anyways, so it’s not all that expensive. The quality of the blanket is high from both a look standpoint and a practical standpoint as well. Sonic fan or not it’s a blanket worth owning.

3. My Sonic the Hedgehog wallet. Why I like it: not only does the wallet look awesome, especially to a major Sonic fan like me, but the wallet itself is actually pretty good. The quality isn’t perfect, so I don’t expect it to last 14 years like my last one, but it does do a good job. Even when filled up it’s easy to get my debit or credit card out and put it back in no problem, which was an issue with my last wallet. So like the blanket, it looks great and it is very practical as well. Why I recommend it: because of what I just said. It’s an awesome looking wallet that’ll get compliments from fellow gamers and it does a great job as a wallet. You’ll like having this around, unless you don’t like Sonic the Hedgehog. Other than that potential issue I recommend it, because I think you’ll love it.

Those are the 3 latest gaming merchandise I’ve bought recently, but I know I can’t be the only one. What have you bought lately? Why would you recommend it? Let us know in the comments!
